When you open a savings account with SRP Federal Credit Union, you become a shareholder and owner of the credit union. The $0.01 deposit required to open a primary account buys your share.

Eligibility Requirements for Opening a Business Account

Under SRP Federal Credit Union's community charter guidelines, any business that is physically located in Aiken, Allendale, Barnwell, or Edgefield in South Carolina or Burke, Columbia, Jefferson, Lincoln, McDuffie, or Richmond County in Georgia is eligible to open a Business Account.

Joining SRP Federal Credit Union

When you decide to join SRP Federal Credit Union, you will need proper documentation depending on your business ownership type. Drivers License and SSN of All Signers is required for all types of business accounts. Please also note that Proof of Business Address may be requested and applies to all business account types.

Sole Proprietorship
  • Verification of Social Security Number (Social Security Card, Medicare Card, W-2) or Proof of EIN of the Business (SS-4 Letter from IRS or Schedule C from tax return)
Corporation
  • Proof of EIN of the Business (SS-4 Letter from IRS or Schedule C from Tax Return)
  • Bylaws
  • Amendments, if applicable
  • Copy of meeting minutes naming current officers
  • If a non-profit organization, please provide proof of tax exempt status
Limited Liability Company
  • Proof of EIN of the Business (SS-4 Letter from IRS or Schedule C from Tax Return)
  • Operating Agreement (Multi-Member LLC's Only)

Incorporated Non-Profit Organization
or Association

  • Proof of EIN/TIN from IRS
  • Bylaws
  • BOD Minutes Authorizing Membership in the CU & Signers

Unincorporated Non-Profit Organization,
Association or Lodge

  • Proof of EIN of the Business (SS-4 Letter from IRS)
  • Letter of Authorization from Association, Organization of Lodge or Bylaws
  • Copy of meeting minutes naming current officers

Partnership

  • Proof of EIN of the Business (SS-4 Letter from IRS)
  • Partnership Agreement (to include names of partners and name of partnership who will have account access)
