eStatements FAQ

Is SRP Online required to get eStatements?

Yes. For security reasons, eStatements are available to SRP Online members only. Please note that SRP Online must be activated for each account number (formerly referred to as 'member number') receiving eStatements.

What is SRP Online?

SRP Online is the brand name of SRP Federal Credit Union's online banking product.

How secure is my personal information?

SRP Federal Credit Union uses several methods to ensure that your information is secure:

-User Name and Password: Your user name and password are unique identifiers that only you know. As long as you don't share your user name and password with anyone, no one can sign into SRP Online as you.

-SSL: SRP Online uses SSL (secure sockets layer) which ensures that your connection and information are secure from outside inspection.

-Encryption: SRP Online uses 256-bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet.

-Automatic Log Out: In addition, SRP Online automatically logs you out of a session if you are inactive for a predefined number of minutes. Keep in mind, however, that it is best if you log out immediately after you are finished using online banking.

My child has an account at the credit union. Can I get eStatements for him, too?

Yes. However, your child must have SRP Online access (please refer to FAQ #1, above). To enroll a minor child (age 17 or younger) please complete the SRP Online application and sign it in the same manner as the signature card. In other words, the application should be signed by the minor, if possible, and signed or co-signed by the parent, guardian, or responsible adult who initially set up the account.

Will I still receive a paper statement if I sign up for eStatements?

No. To clarify, you may receive a paper statement the first month that you activate the eStatements option; however, after that you will no longer be receiving statements by mail.
Should you require a paper copy, you can print an eStatement from your saved file or directly from your computer. Please refer to FAQ # 10 for instructions.

When I first signed up for eStatements, you asked for my email address. What if I want my eStatement mailed to a different address?

To update your email address online, login to SRP Online.
Please note that your E-Statements and check images are not being emailed to you. Instead, this confidential information is being archived on a secure server behind our online banking firewall until you choose to retrieve it by logging into SRP Online. We ask for your email address so that we can send you notification when your current statement is available.

How much statement history will I be able to access online?

The current statement will be added to your eStatement archive until 18 months' worth has accrued. Statements will be available for a rolling 18 months thereafter.

Help! I click the eStatements menu, but nothing happens. All I see is a page with an 'eStatements' heading, and links to 'Main Menu' and 'Logout'. Where are my eStatements?

When you click the eStatements menu, the eStatements application should open up in a new window. If this is not happening, Pop-Up Blocker is enabled for this site and is preventing eStatements from functioning properly. Please locate and disable all Pop-Up Blockers. Alternately, if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, you can hold down the Control (Ctrl) key located in the lower left corner of your keyboard while clicking the eStatements menu. This will temporarily disable most Pop-Up Blockers, allowing the eStatements application to launch.

How do I save my eStatements to a disk?

To save your statement, you must first display it as a PDF file. To do this:

-Once you have opened the document in Adobe Reader, choose File/Save or click the Floppy Disk icon. You can then save the item to the directory (folder) of your choice.

How do I print my eStatements?

What is the best way to view my eStatements and Check Images?

eStatements and Check Images are best viewed on a monitor at 800 x 600 resolution and greater than 256 colors (16k+ recommended).

Why doesn't the 'Back' key always work?

For security, this system will not let you use the 'Back' key from all screens. This is to prevent someone from being able to access your personal information from a more generic 'non-personal' screen if you have stepped away from your PC. Please click the 'Return' key to go back to the previous page.

How do I cancel eStatements and begin getting paper statements again?

To cancel your eStatements service, please call (803) 278-4851, or send us your request securely by logging into SRP Online and clicking the Message Center link.

If I sign up for eStatements today, when will I begin to receive them?

If you sign up by 5:00 PM on the last business day of the month, you will receive an eStatement and no paper statement for that month. If you sign up after 5:00 PM on the last business day of the month, you will still get your eStatement, because you get instant access, but you may get one last paper statement as well.
