Great! I'm in. What am I seeing?

The SRP Online default page is called My Dashboard. Three columns of panels called widgets provide a quick glance at your account balances, alerts, transfers, recent transactions, and much more.

I like it, but why is the Account Balances panel blank?

My Dashboard is customizable. Any widget with a Configure Settings icon (the icon that looks like a sprocket) can be reconfigured to your preferences. Customize your Dashboard to meet your needs.

OK. I've reconfigured My Dashboard and reconfigured the widgets to suit my preferences. What do I do now?

A good first step is to set up the Reset Password question/answer. This will save time if you ever forget your password.

From the top panel menu, click on Options and go to Personal.

Scroll down to the 'Modify Personal Settings,' and enter the appropriate information in the 'Password Reset Question' and 'Password Reset Answer' fields and click Submit to save your changes.

What if I don't set this feature and I forget my password?

You will need to contact the credit union during regular business hours: (803)278-4851 to reset your password.

I'm locked out of SRP Online. What do I do now?

Click the Options tab, and then click Personal. Enter your new User ID in the blank text box below your current User ID. Click Submit to save your changes.

You can change your User ID at any time.

I'm on the Accounts page, looking at my Deposit Accounts, and I noticed that the amount showing in the Available column is different from the Balance column. What's going on?

The amount in the Balance column equals all funds that are currently on deposit in your account.

The amount in the Available column equals the amount in the Balance column minus any debit card holds, check holds, or other account holds currently in effect.

The available amount does NOT reflect any checks, automatic withdrawals, or electronic debits that have been issued but have not yet cleared.

For this reason, it is important to keep a checkbook register (or you can use a financial management tool such as Quicken or an Excel spreadsheet) to track all credits (deposits, dividend payments, refunds, etc.) and debits (checks, automatic withdrawals, debit card purchases, ATM withdrawals, fees, etc.) affecting your accounts.

Can I access accounts on which I am a joint-owner through SRP Online?

You can but there are some restrictions.* You will need to contact us to link your joint accounts to your SRP Online Internet banking profile. Simply stop by your favorite branch and speak with a member service representative or call your SRP Online branch staff at (803)278-4851.

*Please note that, due to system limitations, joint Visa credit cards and joint first mortgages cannot be linked to another SRP Online profile at the present time.

Can I make a principal-only payment?

Under certain circumstances, yes, you can. Credit Union policy requires that you make at least one interest payment within a 30-day period. As long as the additional amount is transferred on the same calendar day, the entire excess amount will be applied to principal.

If you have already made a regular payment, and you would like to apply additional funds to the principal on a different day, please use the Message Center to send us a request. Indicate the sending account (savings, checking, etc.), the receiving loan, and the amount you wish to transfer. Also, let us know that you would like the entire amount to be applied to principal. We will happily process this payment for you and send you a return message when it has been completed.
